Yeah, man. Fly fishing. It's not really about the fish, you know? You stand in the river, the water's doing its thing, you got the little… the rod goes back, and forward, and — I don't know, hours go by. Nobody's asking you for anything. Nobody's peeing on your rug. That's the whole deal right there.

So this shirt. It's soft, real soft — that Airlume cotton, combed and ring-spun, whatever that means, it just feels good, man. Lightweight. Kinda slouchy in a way that I personally appreciate. Drapes easy. You put this thing on and it's already broken in, like it's been around a while and made its peace with things.

On the back you got the whole Fly Shop scene — warm, sun-faded, an angler taking it easy with his reel and his box of flies. Real mellow colors. And on the front, over the heart, there's the little fish. That's the ABIDE fish, man. Small, but it's the important part.

Wear it under a flannel. Wear it with some old jeans. Wear it to the river, or to the store, or nowhere at all. It's got the shoulder tape and the side seams so it keeps its shape through the rotation — I'm told that's a big deal, and I'm not gonna argue with it. Tear-away label, so nothing's scratching at your neck. That's important. A man's gotta be comfortable.

Made right, too. Ethical blanks, easy on the conscience. That's, you know… that's nice.

Care instructions (take 'er easy on it)

• Machine wash cold — max 30°C / 90°F. Cold water, man. Cold water's fine.
• Non-chlorine bleach, but, y'know, only if it really needs it
• Tumble dry low
• Iron, steam, or dry on medium heat
• No dry cleaning. The Dude does not abide dry cleaning.
