Dharmasquatch Tee
Okay, so picture this: Bigfoot. The big guy himself, the one everybody’s out there hunting with night-vision cameras and podcasts — and he’s not running from anybody. He’s sitting. Full lotus, cross-legged, both hands up in that little mudra where the thumb and finger make a circle, eyes closed, deep in it. And around him there’s this big brushstroke enso, the zen circle, laid down in one loose sweep. Underneath it just says Dharmasquatch. That’s the whole shirt, man. That’s the whole thing.
And I gotta say, it kinda works on you the longer you look. Dharma’s the path, y’know, the teaching, the way of things — and here’s this mythical woods-dweller who’s been quietly living it the entire time. No striving. No being seen. Just out there in the trees, abiding, letting the human comedy do its thing while he sits with the current. Maybe that’s why nobody ever gets a clear photo. Guy’s too enlightened to pose.
The enso ties it off. One brushstroke, doesn’t quite close, doesn’t care. Perfect because it’s not perfect — same thing zen’s been trying to tell us the whole time. Squatch already knew.
The shirt itself is soft. Real soft. Slouchy in a way I personally appreciate — feels broken-in first time you put it on, like it’s already made its peace with things. It’s a black print, so it reads sharp and clean on a lighter tee, that brushwork nice and crisp. Wear it to the lanes, the couch, a hike where you’re secretly hoping to run into a fellow traveler. It’s not trying too hard, and neither are you.
The Squatch abides.
