So there's this guy named Earl, he's on the back of the shirt, and he's just… standing there. Mustache. Hair that's given up on being managed. Flannel hanging open over a cream tee with a yin-yang on it that says DUDEISM, which is a shirt on a shirt, man, and I don't know what to tell you about that except it seems right. He's got a White Russian in his hand at what I'd guess is early afternoon. No apologies.
Behind him it's the whole scene. Palm trees, a big striped sunset going down, one of those two-story motels with the blue posts and the walkway, an orange Challenger (Earl must have updated his wheels form the El Camino) parked crooked out front like whoever drove it had somewhere to be and then thought better of it. Up in the corner, just the proclamation: "MY NAME IS DUDE". And down along the bottom: karma, accountability, the abiding way. Which, y'know. That's basically the whole philosophy in three words, and somebody fit it under a car.
This here shirt let's you abide both The Big Lebowski & My Name is Earl.
The fabric's the thing though. Airlume cotton, combed and ring-spun, which are words I've read several times now and still couldn't explain to you. But it's light. Four point two ounces, so it doesn't sit on you in August. Soft in the way a shirt usually only gets after a year of you not being careful with it. This one shows up already there.
Where do you wear it? Wherever. Errands. The lanes. While you're out knocking things off your list. It's not a shirt that asks anything of you, which is more than I can say for most of them.
It's a shirt that really ties the universes together.

Product features (they gave me a list, man. I'm passing it along.)
- 100% Airlume combed and ring-spun cotton, 4.2 oz. Light. Real light.
- Retail fit, crew neck. Sits how a shirt oughta sit. Not fussy about it.
- Side seams, so it keeps its shape instead of going shapeless on you over time.
- Ribbed collar with shoulder tape. The collar doesn't do that wavy thing. That's the tape, apparently.
- Tear-away label. You pull it off, it's gone, nothing scratching the back of your neck all day. Small thing. Adds up.
- DTF print, which is how all that motel detail stays sharp instead of turning to mud.
- REACH certified, ethically made, blanks out of Honduras. Somebody thought about it. Good.
- Comes in heathers and blends too if solid's not your speed.
Care instructions (none of this is urgent, but it's not nothing either.)
- Machine wash cold. Thirty degrees. Cold's fine, cold's easy, cold's what I do.
- Non-chlorine bleach if you need it. Probably you don't.
- Tumble dry low. Low. High heat's just gonna shrink it and then we're both sad.
- Iron or steam on medium if you're the ironing type. I'm not, but I respect it.
- Do not dry clean. Man, why would you. It's a t-shirt. Let it be a t-shirt.
The shirt abides.
