I Can Get You a Tao Tee

So there's this old sage on the front, man. Some people call him Lao Tzu.

Bald dome, big eyebrows, beard like a waterfall that's stopped worrying about where it's going. And his whole head is kinda melting into a yin-yang. Or the yin-yang's melting into him. Hard to say where one stops and the other starts, which, y'know… I think that's the point. Underneath it says I Can Get You a Tao. Which is a better offer than the one I got, believe me.

The Tao, man. It's like, the way things go when you quit shoving. Water around the rock. Ball down the lane. You don't have to get it, exactly. You just stop getting in its way. Anyway, this guy's got some. He's willing to share.

Front print, black ink, sitting right there on the chest where people can read it while you're not saying anything. Looks real sharp on the lighter colors. Heathers, sand, that kinda thing. The shirt shows through where the white used to be, so the sage gets a little tan.

And it's soft. Real soft. Lightweight, a little slouchy, already feels like it's been around a while and made its peace with things. Wear it to the lanes, to the grocery store at 2 a.m., to a yoga class you're gonna leave early. Wherever. It doesn't judge.

The shirt abides. The shirt… also, kinda, is the Tao? I dunno, man. Don't think about it too hard.

Care instructions (it's a t-shirt, man, it's not a Persian rug)

• Machine wash cold, 30°C / 90°F max. Take 'er easy on it.
• Non-chlorine bleach if you really gotta.
• Tumble dry low. No rush. Nothing's on fire.
• Iron, steam, or dry on medium, if you're an ironing kinda person. No judgment.
• Do not dry clean. The Tao does not dry clean, man. Nobody even knows where that place is.
