ABIDE Fish Vinyl Sticker (White)
So there’s this fish, man. Little ichthys deal, the kind people put on their bumpers to let you know where they stand. Only this one’s got sunglasses on. And feet. Two of ’em, walkin’ along like it’s got nowhere in particular to be. And right there in the middle, where the fancy Greek word usually goes, it just says ABIDE.
That’s the whole sermon. Took about four seconds to preach.
It’s three inches across, inch and a half tall. Which is, y’know, sticker-sized. Big enough to read from a parking spot away, small enough it doesn’t take over your entire laptop lid or whatever. Black ink on white vinyl, cut right along the outline so you get that little white halo around the fish. Clean. Doesn’t look like a rectangle somebody stuck on your stuff.
Where’s it go? Wherever, man. Water bottle. Bumper. The lid of a cooler that’s seen some things. I’d put it on the car, personally, right next to somebody’s angrier fish, and let the two of ’em work it out on their own time.
There’s a holographic version too, if you’re feeling a little more rainbow about it. This one’s the white. Simpler. Ages nice.
Product features (they handed me a list. I’m reading the list.)
- 3 inches wide by 1.5 inches tall … fits a bottle, fits a laptop, fits a bumper
- Die-cut along the shape of the fish, not a square … the shape is sorta the point
- Black print on white vinyl, so it holds up on a dark surface
- Peel-and-stick backing … no ceremony required
- Also available in holographic, for the more festive among us
Care instructions (a sticker. With care instructions. The durned human comedy.)
- Wipe the spot down and let it dry first. Grease is the enemy here.
- Peel slow. Slow is somehow faster with these things.
- Press from the middle out and chase the bubbles to the edge.
- Give it a day to settle before the car wash.
- Do not dry clean. I don’t know how you’d even … just don’t, man.
The sticker abides.
